Emily A. Murgatroyd - President and Owner
After graduating from Queen's University, Emily embarked on a ten year career in sales and marketing with a focus on event planning, experiential marketing and promotions. She has worked with many well known companies such as CHUM Television & Much Music, Blast Radius and Newad and has created event marketing and promotional experiences for companies and brands including Bell Canada, CBC, Crystal Lite, Clover Leaf, Kellogg's, L'Oreal, FIDO, Government of Alberta, Emer'gen-C and LUSH.
Emily has published several articles on green entertaining and writes the Greenprint Events blog about all things eco-tainment. She is also a regular contributor to DeSmogBlog, an organization committed to clearing the "PR pollution that is clouding the Science on Climate Change" and sits on the Vancouver Peak Oil Executive and in April 2008, was one of 250 Canadians personally trained by Al Gore to give climate change presentations. Emily was looking for a way to combine her dedication to the environment with her skill set, and created Greenprint Events to service the need for events while maintaining a commitment to environmental and social responsibility. She lives in Vancouver, loves surfing, yoga and her goldendoodle Leo.
Stefany Brown - Director, Event Production
While consulting for a leading global financial company, Stefany was sent an assignment all over the world. During that time, Stefany discovered a passion for music and events and upon her return to Toronto, began organizing her own underground festivals which quickly gained a following. Through this experience she honed her skills as an event planner, eventually returning to George Brown College to further her knowledge in the field of Event and Conference Management.
She made the move to Vancouver and began a ten year career in event production working on several large events including TED Conferences and TED Global 07 in Tanzania Africa. Through her volunteer work she has been part of the Vancouver International Film Festival and The Fringe Festival and has produced a variety of events from large corporate conferences to gala parties to 3 day outdoor music festivals and everything in between. Stefany joined Greenprint Events in Oct 2007 and has brought with her a wealth of experience and a dedication to producing sustainable events. She is currently mastering the art of rasing a puppy.
